On Monday, Garrett had a very small Princess birthday party with just her cousins, Blair and Lela (and baby Gabe, but he just watched) and two friends, Colin and Lilly. We had pizza, cheesey bread, cake and ice cream. It wasn't anything fancy. Since two of the guests, Seth and Colin, are boys, they dressed up as Knights, since most boys I know don't want to dress up as Princesses. Although I do know some men who like to dress in women's clothing, that's an entirely different subject not related to Garrett's Princess Party.
Most of you know I made a Princess Castle cake for Garrett. If I were a professional baker, this cake certainly would've ended up on
Cake Wrecks, but since I am not, I think it turned out rather well, considering my lack of any sort of cake decorating skills whatsoever.

Garrett received some fun gifts and had a great time. And she loved the cake, so when the Birthday Girl is happy, everyone is happy!
Here is a slideshow of the rest of Garrett's party:

Great cake--I should have had you do my princess cake (that was a wreck), but it was pink and thats all Bethany cared about.
Great job on the cake Katie! It turned out awesome.
Great pics....Colin was actually in one!
Now I am interested in the fact that you know men that like to dress in women's clothing.
The men - are gay men - some like to do it for Halloween. Another friend likes to go to gay Bingo and a lot of the men, including my friend, dress in drag.
That's not as interesting as I thought it would be....except for maybe the gay Bingo.
Love the cake Katie! I think it turned out great.
I think your cake looks great. It looks like everyone had lots of fun.
It looks Garrett had a great birthday! Love the cake!
You're hilarious. That cake is adorable! What a fun birthday celebration :)
